Mysticism

100_1955

Architecture in Ulaanbaatar is calming. Monasteries rise in the bleak cold and the stillness of winter makes them look like sitting Buddhas themselves. Will be driving the 12-hour route to the southern Gobi tomorrow, a winding 4-wheel adventure. Got a massage yesterday - the best damn idea of the century. After the 24-hour travel, sitting sleeping, it is good to be still, stretched and calm.

How I miss the warmth and love of the Caribbean. But the Buddhists say nothing lasts forever. Before this passes as well, I must be present now. The universe will take care of the rest.
