PALMS
Since leaving Mongolia one month ago, the days have been packed with family adventures in Puerto Rico. From San Juan to the east coast town of Fajardo to the mountain pueblo of Patillas, I have been surrounded and embraced by a huge, loving force that will support me through the next few months of desert windstorms, drastic temperatures and long days. But, work won't continue just yet.
Arriving with a turbulent and fast landing, Tortola's coast came up fast. Now I'm at the surfer's hostel, the only hostel in the BVI, on the north coast at Josiah's Bay. This family run place will be a perfect transition. I can't get enough palmside pleasure. Three weeks of no agenda is just what the doctor ordered (right Dad!)
Signing off from paradise,
Andrea
